Jared supports the advisors and service professionals of Austin Wealth Management in the day-to-day operations and organizational aspects of managing client accounts and investments.
He has spent the bulk of his career educating clients on the building blocks of successful investment strategies and financial planning, and has developed a passion for selecting and customizing the tools required to design, implement, and monitor investment management strategies. Jared holds the Certified Investment Management Analyst® (CIMA®) Certification, an advanced professional education program for advisors and consultants who desire to serve their clients with the most sophisticated investment and portfolio management knowledge. The CIMA® certification is administered by the Investments & Wealth Institute and taught in conjunction with Yale School of Management.
Investments & Wealth Institute® (the Institute) is the owner of the certification marks “CIMA,” and “Certified Investment Management Analyst.” Use of CIMA, and/or Certified Investment Management Analyst signifies that the user has successfully completed the Institute’s initial and ongoing credentialing requirements for investment management professionals.
Background
Jared joined Austin Wealth Management in 2022 after four years at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management where he juggled various responsibilities spanning operations, client service, portfolio management, and client reporting. During his tenure there, he worked closely with portfolio managers to translate investment philosophy and portfolio design into actionable trading tactics and investing policies.
Prior to his work at Morgan Stanley, Jared was a representative on TD Ameritrade’s trading desk assisting self-directed clients in developing and refining their own investment strategy, as well as utilizing the firm’s market data, strategy analysis, and trading tools.
Jared currently resides in Omaha, Nebraska. A native resident of the state, he attended the University of Nebraska at Omaha where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with concentrations in Investment Science & Real Estate. Throughout his studies, Jared was heavily involved with student led organizations focused on investing and venture capital.
Outside of work, Jared spends his time living life to the fullest with his wife, two daughters, two dogs, and their leopard gecko. When not hiking, camping, or kayaking, Jared can be found tending his vegetable garden, working on various home improvement projects, or enjoying the open road on his motorcycle.
